Poster prize for PhD student Nataly Rey-Munoz

Big congratulations to PhD student Nataly Rey Munoz whose poster "Closed Bipolar Electrochemistry in a 4-Electrode Configuration: An Ideal Complimentary Methodology to Probe Electropolymerisation at Liquid-Liquid Interfaces" has been selected as poster prize winner of Symposium 3 of the 72nd International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) Annual Meeting.

Scanlon Electrochemistry Laboratory members were very active at the 72nd International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) Annual Meeting (hybrid format) held in Jeju, South Korea (https://annual72.ise-online.org/) with 1 keynote, 6 oral and 5 poster presentations in total.

All of our presentations were in Symposium 3 (S03): Electrochemistry at Liquid/liquid Interfaces: From Fundamental to Applications. Congratulations to Micheál for chairing a session and also presenting a keynote oral presentation and poster presentation, to postdoctoral researchers Dr Alonso Gamero-Quijano and Dr Bren Mark Felisilda for oral presentations, to PhD students Ivan Robayo-Molina, Nataly Rey Munoz, Rob Lehane and Kamil Cywinski for oral and poster presentations, and PhD student Nicolás Rojas-Sanabria for a poster presentation.

Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship Success

Exciting news as Dr. William Cheuquepan, currently a postdoc in Prof. Alvaro's group at Universidad de Burgos (Spain), will join us after winning a Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship!

Also, Dr Alonso Gamero-Quijano, a postdoc from our group, has won a Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship to head back to Spain!! Both are liquid-liquid electrochemistry projects.

Thanks to all in the UL Research office for helping prepare William's proposal.
