Micheál travelled to Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) in Spain for BES-2024 “XXVIII International Symposium on Bioelectrochemistry and Bioenergetics of the Bioelectrochemical Society.” During the conference, he delivered an oral presentation detailing the groups work on the bioelectrochemistry of Cytochrome c at a polarised liquid|liquid interface. Former group members, Dr Alonso Gamero-Quijano, also presented his work on emerging insights on the electrochemistry of bacterial ATPase at a proteoliposome modified liquid|liquid interface.
